Improving community well-being by supporting healthcare services and essential medical supplies for the Balikumbat Sub-Divisional Hospital, which serves as a vital lifeline for our under-resourced region

Supporting the acquisition of essential medical equipment needed to improve healthcare accessibility in the Balikumbat Subdivision, including full blood count analyzers, biochemistry analyzers, ultrasound machines, microscopes, and X-ray equipment.

About MIDA
Mubako in Diaspora Association (MIDA) is a nonprofit organization formed by members of the Mubako diaspora who remain deeply connected to their communities in Cameroon.
For over two decades, the association has worked to support healthcare access, improve living conditions, and preserve the cultural heritage of the Mubako Chamba people across Balikumbat, Baligansin, Baligam, and Baligashu.

Upcoming Community Convention
Mubako Community Convention – Dallas
The upcoming MIDA convention in Atlanta, GA will bring together members of the Mubako diaspora to strengthen community connections, celebrate our cultural heritage, and support initiatives that improve the well-being of our communities
This year’s convention will also focus on raising support for acquiring essential medical equipment for the Balikumbat Sub-Divisional Hospital. The goal is to help provide vital diagnostic tools such as full blood count analyzers, biochemistry analyzers, ultrasound machines, microscopes, and X-ray equipment that are greatly needed to improve healthcare accessibility in the Balikumbat Subdivision.
Since 2019, MIDA has invested over 35 million Francs CFA in community development projects across Balikumbat, including clean water infrastructure and vital hospital equipment that continue to improve the well-being of our communities.
