ABOUT US

MIDA brings together members of the Mubako diaspora who work collectively to support healthcare, advance community development, and preserve the cultural heritage of the Mubako people.

For over 20 years, MIDA has supported initiatives that promote the well-being of our communities in Cameroon and the United States.

Mubako In Diaspora Association (MIDA) is a dedicated 501(c) non-governmental and not-for-profit organization devoted to the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Mubako Chamba, encompassing the villages of Balikumbat, Baligansin, Baligam, and Baligashu. Our mission is to foster health and social development within the Balikumbat Subdivision and its surrounding communities in the North West region of Cameroon.

Through our initiatives, we provide valuable health tips aimed at enhancing wellness, facilitate access to portable drinking water, and oversee the procurement and delivery of essential medical supplies to the Balikumbat Sub-Divisional Hospital, which serves as a lifeline for our under-resourced region. At this year’s convention in Dallas, Texas, we invite everyone to contribute, as every donation, regardless of size, plays a crucial role in our efforts to acquire vital medical equipment. Our goal includes obtaining full blood count analyzers, biochemistry analyzers, ultrasound machines, microscopes, and X-ray equipment that are much needed to improve healthcare accessibility for our community. Together, we can make a significant impact in enhancing the health services available to the people of Mubako.
